Ragi Ambli recipe
Ingredients Required
- Butter milk
- Slat
- Ragi/ Finger Millets
- Garlic
- Curry leaves
- Coriander
- Onion
- Green Chilly
- Jeera
Procedure
The Ragi Ambali special dish of Uttar Karnataka is very easy to prepare and it can be prepared and served in twenty minutes.
In the first add Ragi to butter milk slowly while stirring , stir till it completly mixes , if we try to heat the butter milk before ragi is completly dissovled it might become solid and ragi wont get mixed well , hence we will stir it properly
All the above mentioned recipe keep it ready at your side so you can add one by one
After stir it try to add salt to it as per your taste , normally will add half to one table spoon of salt and stir well , then we will add Garlic to it , you can crush the garlic before adding it to ragi ambli ,it needs to be stir before keeping over the oven , then add Jeera half table spoon of it and add chopped Onion to it with green chilly, try to keep it on low flame heat and keep on stirring . For tasty flavor coriander leaves is added at the end.
After few minutes of heating Ragi Ambli is ready to server.
Ragi Ambli has greater health benefits . It is mostly eaten with rice , you can call a recipe without dal and oil
